As I’ve told you before,

We’re not that different; you and me.

Running alone through the night,

Getting stronger with every fight.

You shine, you shine to show her,

Just who you are.

Sure the distances are there, but

For her, you’re not so far.

At night you try your best,

You shine even if it’s not your light.

You’ve got to agree!

At night, slowly you rise,

You rise, just to say, hi!

Then comes the morning,

And so the goodbye!

You can’t tell her the truth,

So you chose to see her from height.

I guess, you’re getting my point!

I think, it’s a nice thing you have,

Whatever it is with her.

It gives you the motive to stay high,

And a purpose to be there, forever!

You’ve got the time till morning,

To tell her, you have full night.

So, now you’re agreeing with me right?

You know! We’re not that different;

Running alone through the night,

Getting stronger with every fight.

You keep revolving around your love,

Just to see her face.

And even if you are tired,

You can’t lower the pace.

Plus, with every passing night,

You try to shine a little more bright.

You see! We’re not that different;

I can sense the courage you gather up, day-by-day;

Till the day when she sees the complete of you.

And when you realize, there’s a distance;

One can only imagine what you’ve been through.

Hiding from the world’s sight.

You try to come closer,

She moves further away.

I don’t think she knows,

I do understand your situation,
